How People Feel When They Are Behind on Taxes

I cannot tell you how many times I have received calls or messages from folks who are behind on their taxes and are afraid to talk about it because they are worried about being judged. If this is you, I’m here to help.
People who are behind on their taxes – no matter the reason – ultimately feel ashamed, self-loathing, and guilt over it. Some of these folks feel even more so when they know it’s because they’ve procrastinated year after year, making it a much bigger project than it started out to be. Then there’s these threatening IRS and/or State notices to add to it. It’s not fun.
When these folks finally muster up the courage to reach out for help, they walk into their local “CPA” office they pass by every day as they go to work and run their errands (and I say “CPA” because most folks think this is synonymous with “tax person”) and explain their situation. The reaction from this tax “professional” is almost never kind, caring, and understanding. Inside, as suspected, this tax professional is rolling their eyes, heaving a big sigh, and trying to figure out how to get out of this “nightmare” of a project. The main way the tax professional will run this person out of their office intentionally, is to quote them the highest fee they can think of, then intimidate them with the thought of filing tax returns from the dawn of time, as well as the tax owed on those returns from the dawn of time; money they can expect to pay out for the rest of their life and on into whatever afterlife they believe in. THIS IS NOT ME!!!
While I make NO representation that there is a cheap, overnight fix for this type of situation, I am here to help you get whole and to protect YOUR taxpayer rights. You have taxpayer rights??? YES!!! Remember, you did not get into this situation overnight and you will not resolve it overnight. We can work together to put things back into place, avoid or stop the bank levies, and find a collection alternative that can work with your budget. WE CAN STOP THE TAX NIGHTMARE TOGETHER! Call or text (916) 439-9373.
